Search the Virginia Company Adventurers Register from 1620

This database was created from the document "A Declaration of the State of the Colonie and Affaires in Virginia: With The Names of the Adventurers, and Summes adventured in that Action." The document contains lists of the men and women who "adventured" money to the Virginia Company. The term "Adventurers" refers both to people at home in England who contributed funds to the Company and to those who also immigrated to Virginia. Groups (such as the Company of Dyers or the Company of Leathermakers) and townships also donated money to the Company. The list of names was divided into three tables depending on who was Treasurer at the time of payment.
